The policy of some countries mostly related to the epidemic
Swedish policy
Sweden is nearly the only country respecting human rights. The epidemic policy was decided through the epidemiology department of health and not the government in contrast to most nations where the government decides about it. They didn’t impose any restrictive, punishing rules to people as fines and police involvements, instead of explained that according to the first rule of epidemics there were no ways to influence and shorten their course and they just had to apply the necessary means protecting the most vulnerable groups, the elderly and health-wise compromised to evade more deaths, simultaneously giving much useful advice, exercises living a lot out of the houses (just the opposite of “we stay at home “ of most other countries, which is the beginning of control of any reactions of the population ) and other ways of living for retaining good health and resistance to sickness. He underlined the importance of self-responsibility of keeping the basic rules of protecting the society from coronavirus. They applied only a few restrictive measures such as not serving in front of the bar and concentrations in gatherings more than 500??? People later diminished to lower amounts of 100 as well as the number of people inside restaurants. Youth up to 16 years were obliged to visit their schools and above had to follow lessons by computer. All shops and Businesses open, included theaters, cinemas, ski resorts gym swim pools, etc. Advise, not to form too big groups and not to visit too many older people in institutions. They allowed the economy to be working. Didn’t follow the facilitating for many leaders suppressive manipulative totalitarian policy of China which had resulted in oh so soon effective (political) control which most of the so-called civilized countries sped to follow because this was not the way in Sweden does things and they didn’t want to manipulate people, next to that it was not at all really effective. Therefore they received enormous directed criticism often erroneous and humiliating from most countries especially Scandinavian, mass media, and journalism even from so-called progressives (the guardian and others). Now all these criticizing countries (need to be forced) follow the policy of Sweden (to revive their economy!!!). But too late.
English policy
Boris Johnson at the beginning wanted to apply somehow a similar policy to that of Sweden. Soon under the pressure of mass media and journalistic trends and internal and external politics (explanations) went over to the global totalitarian policy of China. His first prohibitions were too strong and often contradictory and not understandable and acceptable (examples) and the strong reactions of English people so that he had to soften and change them. The best and wisest change was that of change we stay at home with we become more careful with the epidemic. So more the Swedish way.
